The EQT-Strategy
The EQT-Strategy is a holistic approach to address equality and raise awareness for prejudices in the work environment. The foundation was set by our EQT gender equality toolkit: a result of comprehensive research and interviews with representatives of different careers. Through a poster, an infographic-handbook, and a card game, the topic of gender equality becomes agile and tangible. The employees get informed and encouraged, to speak up for themselves and others to establish a more just workplace. Our approach combines conclusive statis-tics with design and a humorous undertone to facilitate discussions and engage diverse people in the matter.
Through the EQT method we set the framework and provide the tools to develop a feasible strategy to-gether. With our playful but goal-oriented approach, we stimulate sustainable change and support you in establishing equality as an integral part of your corporate culture. Only when each and everyone has the chance to reach their full potential can we accomplish truly great things.
In this basic module we will introduce you to the topics of diversity and equality, explore prejudices and challenge these collectively. We will assemble the vocabulary and understanding of the basic concepts as well as the bene ts and relevance for your company. Hereby we create a secure frame to plan toward more equity.

On the basis of the newly formed basic knowledge, a common guiding principle will be developed which integrates the aspiration for equality and diversity into the corporate culture. By means of participation and well-proven foresight methods, experiences and impressions from different levels will be brought together and summarized in one collective vision.
The essence of the strategy is the compilation of result-oriented goals and their sustainable implementation. The vision from the previous module will be broken down into separate measurable steps and respective key gures will be de ned as implementation assistance. The needs and desires of different parties will be included and considered carefully during the strategic elaboration.

Based on the EQT toolkit, our EQT strategy concept aims to foster diversity and overarching equality at the workplace sustainably and structurally.

Gender-specific prejudice and bias are based on deeply rooted social gender roles that have become entrenched over many years and are often expressed unconsciously. Active self-reflection and reaction are very important in overcoming these persistent prejudices. The workshop format therefore combines an interactive illustration of the different forms and effects of bias with participatory elements in which workshop participants can apply in practice the insights gained.
